The benchmark Indian equity indices Sensex and Nifty closed in green territory on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Sensex ended 449.52 points higher at 85,267.66, whereas Nifty concluded 148.40 points up at 26,046.95.
L&T, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Ultratech Cement, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, BEL, NTPC, Axis Bank, Jio Finance, Maruti Suzuki, Power Grid and Reliance Industries were among the top gainers on the Nifty.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 426.86 points higher at 84,818.13, whereas Nifty concluded 140.55 points up at 25,898.55.
