The Indian equity indices ended higher on October 27.
Sensex ended 566.96 points higher at 84,778.84, whereas Nifty concluded 170.90 points up at 25,966.05.
SBI Life Insurance, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries, SBI, Eternal were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bharat Electronics, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance.
Indian rupee ended lower at 88.24 per dollar on Monday against Friday’s close of 87.85.
In the previous, Sensex ended 344.52 points lower at 84,211.88, whereas Nifty concluded 96.25 points down at 25,795.15.
