Indian benchmark indices ended higher on August 11.
Sensex ended 746.29 points higher at 80,604.08, whereas Nifty concluded 221.75 points up at 24,585.05.
Biggest Nifty gainers were Adani Enterprises, Tata Motors, Eternal, Grasim Industries, Apollo Hospitals, while losers included Hero MotoCorp, Bharat Electronics, Bharti Airtel.
Indian rupee ended flat at 87.65 per dollar on Monday against Friday’s close of 87.66.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 765.47 points lower at 79,857.79, whereas Nifty concluded 232.85 points down at 24,363.30.
