Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 closed in the green on November 14 as fag-end buying helped the bulls to sit in the positive territory.
Sensex ended 84.11 points higher at 84,562.78, whereas Nifty concluded 30.90 points up at 25,910.05.
Among the Sensex firms, Tata Motors CV was the top gainer as it climbed more than 3 per cent. Eternal, Axis Bank, Bharat Electronics, Trend, SBI, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Finance gained more than 1 per cent each. On the other hand, Infosys cracked nearly 2.50 per cent, followed by Tata Steel, TMPV, ICICI Bank, Maruti and Tech Mahindra were the top losers. Index heavyweight Reliance Industries gained 0.43 per cent.
In the previous, Sensex ended 12.16 points higher at 84,478.67, whereas Nifty concluded 3.35 points up at 25,879.15.
