Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty opened on a choppy note on Tuesday.
After swinging over 200 points in the opening session, at 10:18 am, the 30-share Sensex was trading 27.21 points higher at 60,162.99. Similarly, the Nifty slipped 14.60 points to 17,960.55.
HCL Tech was the top loser in the Sensex pack followed by M&M, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance and IndusInd Bank.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto, Titan, Dr ReddyтАЩs, SBI and ITC were among the gainers.
