Equity benchmark Sensex rose over 100 points in opening trade on Monday.
At 10:25 am, the 30-share Sensex was trading 183.81 points higher at 60,242.87. Similarly, the Nifty rose 74.25 points to 17,969.45
Maruti was the top gainer in the Sensex pack followed by NTPC, PowerGrid, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Auto.
On the other hand, TCS was the top loser in the Sensex pack after the companyтАЩs Q2 earnings missed street expectations.
