Indian benchmark indices continued their rally on February 10, with the Sensex closing above 84,270 and the Nifty at 25,935.
The Sensex ended 208.17 points higher at 84,273.92, while the Nifty gained 67.85 points to close at 25,935.15.
Top gainers on the Nifty included Eternal, Tata Steel, Bajaj Auto, Power Grid Corp, and M&M, while losers were Shriram Finance, HCL Tech, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Bajaj Finance, and Tata Consumer.
The Indian rupee ended higher by 18 paise at 90.58 per dollar, compared with the previous close of 90.76.
On the previous trading day (Monday), the Sensex had closed at 84,065.75 and the Nifty at 25,867.30.
