Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh: District Cane Officer (DCO) Khushiram shared information about the e-Ganna mobile app during his inspection of the ongoing sugarcane survey and plot verification in Kalyanpur Chakrateerth village under the Cane Development Council, Pilibhit region. He also issued directions to officials regarding the app during the visit, reports Live Hindustan.
During the survey and verification, the DCO urged farmers to carefully check their sugarcane survey details, including ratoon cane, plant cane, autumn cane, plot number, Aadhaar number, mobile number, basic quota, and sugarcane variety. He stressed that if any errors or discrepancies are found, they should be corrected immediately, as no changes will be allowed once the crushing season begins.
He further informed farmers that corrections can only be made until August 30. After this deadline, no amendments will be permitted.
The DCO also stated that after the survey and verification process, farmers will be able to access information related to the sugarcane calendar through the e-Ganna app. This will allow them to receive timely updates on survey records, plot verification, the sugarcane calendar, and payment-related details.
SCDI Rambhadra Dwivedi, GM (Cane) Sanjeev Rathi, Pradeep Singh, Cane Committee delegate Virendra Kumar, and sugarcane farmers were present during the inspection.
