Ukraine starts exporting sugar to Ivory Coast

Ukraine is currently exporting sugar to Côte d’Ivoire, while importing cocoa products and nuts in return, according to Ukraine’s Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Vitaliy Koval, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The announcement came from the Ministry of Agriculture’s press service, highlighting the ongoing trade relationship between the two countries despite the challenges posed by the war.

Koval emphasized that agriculture remains a pillar of Ukraine’s economy and that international trade is vital not only for national stability but also for supporting global food security.

He also stressed the importance of building up Africa’s own agricultural capacity, calling it the most effective long-term solution to addressing food needs across the continent.

Meanwhile, after nearly 30 years of experience in agricultural markets, the Ukrainian consultancy firm UkrAgroConsult has launched a new platform called AgriSupp. This online tool provides daily updates and detailed analysis of the grain and oilseed markets, particularly focusing on the Black Sea and Danube regions. It offers users access to operational data, reports, and historical market trends.
