US ‘considering’ limited strike on Iran

US President Donald Trump has indicated that he is contemplating a limited military strike on Iran to exert pressure on its leadership to reach an agreement aimed at restricting its nuclear program.

On Thursday, Trump mentioned that the world would soon know, likely within the next ten days, whether an agreement would be finalised or if the United States would resort to military intervention.

Recently, there has been an escalation of the US military presence in the region.

On Friday, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that Iran was drafting “a possible agreement” to present to US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff in the coming days.

Furthermore, satellite imagery has revealed that Iran has bolstered its military installations. The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued threats against US forces via social media platforms.
