Basti: As many as 32 batteries of 12 volts have been stolen from the Govindnagar sugar mill located in the region, reports Dainik Jagran.
Currently mill is closed and workers and farmers are staging demonstartion over pending dues. Protestors received information that batteries are missing from the mill, following which SDM was informed regarding the same.
The deputy collector has issued instructions to the concerned authorities to initiate an investigation into the case and find out the culprits involved in it.
