тЧ╛ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were тВ╣3350 to 3375/Qntl. whereas M/30 тВ╣3425/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at тВ╣3520 to 3550/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are тВ╣3281 (old S) to 3501 (new S)/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at тВ╣3351 to 3401/Qntl.
тЧ╛ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are тВ╣3500 to 3525/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at тВ╣3550 to 3575/Qntl.

The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $510.70/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.68/lb.

The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5774, Crude futures traded at Rs.5422 Crude WTI traded at $71.64 a barrel. Sensex closed 20.46 points lower at 58,786.67 whereas Nifty ended 5.55 points lower at 17,511.30.
