Sugar Market Scenario:
The market witnessed moderate demand.
State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3230 to ₹3260/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3290 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3350 to 3375/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3425/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3520 to 3550/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3281 (old S) to 3501 (new S)/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3351 to 3401/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3500 to 3525/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3550 to 3575/Qntl.

International Market:
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $510.70/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.68/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5774, Crude futures traded at Rs.5422 Crude WTI traded at $71.64 a barrel. Sensex closed 20.46 points lower at 58,786.67 whereas Nifty ended 5.55 points lower at 17,511.30.
