Indian benchmark indices ended higher on August 13.
Sensex ended 304.31 points higher at 80,539.91, whereas Nifty concluded 131.95 points up at 24,619.35.
Apollo Hospitals, Hindalco Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Cipla were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included IndusInd Bank, UltraTech Cement, Adani Ports, Titan Company, ITC.
Indian rupee ended 21 paise higher at 87.49 per dollar on Wednesday versus previous close of 87.70.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 368.48 points lower at 80,235.59, whereas Nifty concluded 97.65 points down at 24,487.40.
