Indian equity indices ended with marginal gains in the volatile session on September 8.
Sensex ended 76.54 points higher at 80,787.30, whereas Nifty concluded 32.15 points up at 24,773.15.
Tata Motors, JSW Steel, Eicher Motors, M&M, Bajaj Auto are among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers are Trent, SBI Life Insurance, Asian Paints, IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 7.25 points lower at 80,710.76, whereas Nifty concluded 6.70 points up at 24,741.00.
