Indian equity indices higher on September 11.
Sensex ended 123.58 points higher at 81,548.73, whereas Nifty concluded 32.40 points up at 25,005.50.
Adani Enterprises, Shriram Finance, NTPC, Axis Bank, Power Grid were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Auto, Infosys, SBI Life Insurance, Wipro, Titan Company.
Indian rupee ended 34 paise lower at 88.44 per dollar on Thursday versus Wednesday close of 88.10.
In the previous season, Sensex ended 323.83 points higher at 81,425.15, whereas Nifty concluded 104.50 points up at 24,973.10.
