Sensex ends 329 points higher, Nifty nears 25,300

Indian equity indices ended higher on October 10.

Sensex ended 328.72 points higher at 82,500.82, whereas Nifty concluded 103.55 points up at 25,285.35.

Cipla, SBI, Dr Reddy’s Labs, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Ports were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Tata Steel, TCS, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Life.

Indian rupee ended higher 10 paise at 88.69 per dollar on Friday against Thursday’s close of 88.79.

In the previous season, Sensex ended 409 points higher at 82,581 whereas Nifty concluded 123 points up at 25,305.
