A Diwali fair was organized near the residence of Livestock Minister Dharmpal Singh in Nagariya, featuring swings and food stalls for children, reports Amar Ujala.
Before the festivities began, participants performed a ceremonial pooja of Lord Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha. Addressing the crowd, the minister highlighted that the establishment of dairy and ethanol plants along the Amla-Aliganj road under the BJP government would generate new employment opportunities for locals.
He also noted that people in rural areas have been reducing livestock farming and increasingly desire pure ghee and milk. Singh emphasized the need to promote livestock farming, calling it an important part of agriculture that can double farmers’ income.
On the occasion, Ambrish Pathak performed a poetry recital. The event was also attended by Mahendra Singh, member of the Backward Classes Commission, Adheer Saxena, city president, Pramod Anuragi, and Nirdosh Chaturvedi, who shared their views. The program was conducted by Ramnivas Maurya.
