Ambedkarnagar: Akbarpur sugar mill in the district will start cane crushing operations from November 15, reports Amarujala.
Akbarpur sugar mill, Mijahura has set up 37 cane collection centres that would benefit around 46 thousand cane farmers. The area under cane cultivation is around 23000 hectares in the district.
According to the sugar mill administration, it has set up 37 cane collection centres to assist farmers to send their cane to the mill. Sugarcane crushing will continue till all cane is procecured.
