Amal Mahadik selected as new chairman of Rajaram Sugar Mill

Kolhapur: Amal Mahadik, former MLA from Bhartiya Janta Party has been elected as the new chairman of Chhatrapati Rajaram Cooperative Sugar mill, reports The Times of India.

Amal is the son of former MLC Mahadevrao Mahadik, an arch-rival of Congress’s Satej Patil.

After assuming power, Mahadik said, “I will work on fulfilling the promises made to the cane farmers during the election. Though my designation says chairman, every director will be chairman in their own capacity and lead the mill to further heights.”
