Vizianagaram: All party leaders on Sunday have demanded the government to revive the Bheemasingi cooperative sugar mill. Former MLA K Lalitha Kumari appealed to the government to revive the sugar mill that would help in improving the financial condition of the farmers in the region. The meeting was held at the Bheemasingi junction of Jami Mandal on Sunday.
According to the news report published in Thehansindia.com, she asked the political leaders from the district including the MLAs and MLCs to increase pressure on the chief minister to take steps regarding the revival of the sugar mill.
CPM leader Tammineni Suryanarayana said that the farmers from the region are awaiting for the revival of the sugar mill. Farmers should unite and fight against the government till the mill starts operations, he said.
Sugarcane farmers and the leaders of different parties intensified their demand that the state government should revive the Bheemasingi sugar mill.
