Bangladesh should talk to India about instant supply of sugar if country faces any shortage: IBCCI President

Abdul Matlub Ahmad, president of the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (IBCCI), said that Bangladesh should talk to India about the instant supply of essential commodities like sugar, wheat, cotton, and onion if the country faces any shortage, reports United News of Bangladesh.

He said, “This can be reciprocal and Bangladesh can also extend such support if India faces a shortage of any essentials that are available in Bangladesh.”

This issue is expected to be discussed during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to New Delhi. The representatives from the business bodies of Bangladesh will be accompanying the Prime Minister during the visit.
