Banks to remain closed for eight days in November

New Delhi: October month was full of festivals; therefore, banks were closed for many days. Similarly, in November, too, banks will remain closed for eight days. So to avoid the cash crunch, you need to be updated with days when the bank will have holidays this month. This holiday will be based according to the states.

According to the RBI, the banks will remain closed on the following days:
November 1: Bangalore and Imphal: Kannada Rajyostsava/Kut
November 2: Patna and Ranchi: Chhat puja
November 8: Shillong: Wangala Festival
November 9: Holiday because of Second Saturday
November 12: Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla, Srinagar: Guru Nanak Jayanti
November 15: Bangalore, J&K: Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Friday following Eid-I-Milad-ul-Nabi
November 19: Lhabab Duechen, Gangtok
November 23: Holiday because of Fourth Saturday.
