Patna: Sugarcane Industry minister Pramod Kumar has asked Motihari’s Hanuman sugar mill to clear pending dues of farmers and workers within 15 days.
According to the news report published in Jagran.com, the minister reviewed the matter related to the non-payment of dues through video conferencing on Wednesday. He has asked the officials to submit a report in this regard within 15 days. He has called another meeting on August 23 to discuss the issue.
Like other sugarcane producing states, Bihar is also taking steps to ensure sugar mills clear dues of sugarcane farmers.
