India, Brazil have positive perspectives for cooperating in ethanol: Ambassador

Brazil’s Ambassador to India and Bhutan, Kenneth Félix Haczynski da Nóbrega, has characterized the relationship between India and Brazil as extending far beyond unresolved disputes, with issues such as the sugar subsidy as a limited aspects of their bilateral ties, reported CNBCTV18.

In an optimistic vision of cooperation beyond trade-related matters, Ambassador da Nóbrega highlighted the potential for collaboration between India and Brazil in the field of ethanol. He pointed out that India and Brazil have positive perspectives for cooperating in ethanol as well as by virtue of being partners at the global biofuel alliance.

During Brazil’s G20 Presidency, the ambassador emphasized the nation’s commitment to prioritizing sustainable development and addressing poverty and hunger on the global stage. Additionally, Brazil intends to engage in discussions encompassing environmental, social, and economic aspects of development.
