Sultanpur: BJP MP Maneka Gandhi has warned the sugar mill administration in Sultanpur to not to stop mill till all the cane of farmers is crushed in the region. She was speaking after the farmers’ complained to her about the millers stopping cane crushing frequently. She also informed about this to the sugarcane commissioner Sanjeev Bhoosereddy.
She assured the farmers that the mills won’t stop crushing henceforth.
Discussing with the farmers, she said, “Five sugar mills in the region including one from Sultanpur are on the verge of shutting down. She has raised the issue with the chief minister, and he agreed to work on these mills.”
