UP: BKU Lok Shakti raises pending sugarcane payment issue

Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh: The Bhartiya Kisan Union Lok Shakti held its monthly council meeting at the tehsil, where a 10-point demand letter was submitted to the SDM addressing numerous issues faced by farmers.

Among the demands was ensuring payment for sugarcane crops, along with several other requests. The meeting was presided over by Tehsil President Mahendra Singh, and conducted by Manoj Kumar.

While addressing the council, the Union’s Block President Yogendra Singh Kakaran mentioned that farmers are struggling during this election year.
