Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh: Bhartiya Kisan Union, an organization fighting for farmers’ rights, has raised the issue of delay in repair of the sugar mill. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of BKU District President Ramashankar Chaudhary.
Chaudhary said, “Despite sending a repeated memorandum to the government officials, our demands are being neglected. We are not happy with the repair work of the sugar mill.”
Senior District Vice President Baba Sandeep Srivastava said, “This is the only cooperative sugar mill in the district and we want sugar mill expansion during this crushing season. We would launch an agitation if our demands are not met.”
