Brunei: Following the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) cases in Brunei Darussalam, the people are panic and have started buying the daily needed commodities in advance. The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) issued a press release stating that the country has sufficient stock of rice and sugar to meet daily demand.
As the demand from the registered companies is increasing at this time, the sale of the sugar and rice to these companies will continue on Friday, Sunday and on public holidays.
