Budaun, Uttar Pradesh: Sugar mills in Budaun have commenced the preparation for the upcoming season 2021-22. With an aim to start the season on time, sugar mills are engaged in maintenance work.
In Shekhupur Chini Mill, workers completed 25 per cent of maintenance work. Whereas work is going on in full swing in Bisauli Mill as well. Mills will start crushing activity in November.
As per a news report published in Livehindustan.com, mills have concluded the maintenance work of powerhouse, boiler, turbine and others. And if during repair, any part emerged as defective then it is being replaced completely.
Mills are ensuring that in the upcoming season they should not face any breakdown which usually delays the crushing operations.
