Lucknow: Using scientific techniques has helped the sugarcane farmer to increase his cane production three times higher. For the same, he was appreciated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi on Saturday tweeted about his digital interaction with sugarcane farmer, Arvind Kumar of Hardoi district. In his tweet, he said, “Using scientific techniques and inputs in farming has not only increased the cane production in his fields three times but ethanol plants at sugar mills have made his life easy.”

PM has encouraged Kumar to go for organic farming, and also said, “To secure the future of the sugarcane farmers we cannot depend only on sugar and jaggery production but have to focus on ethanol production.”
