Case HI announces ‘Unnat Kaushal-Sugarcane Harvester Operator Training’ through its CSR programme

Case IH has announced the “Unnat Kaushal-Sugarcane Harvester Operator Training” through CSR.

A brand of CNH Industrial and a global leader in agriculture equipment will be launching the programme in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Baramati, Maharashtra for cane harvester operators from across India.

The programme aims to train sugarcane farmers to use harvesting equipment to increase their efficiency and maximize machine uptime for sustainable sugarcane farming.

Around 150 farmers from the villages of Baramati, Kolhapur, Satara and Sangli districts will be trained at the initial level. Around 300 operators between 18 and 35 years of age having minimum education qualifications will be trained during the five-day programme.

“We are committed to creating a positive impact in the agriculture industry at CNH Industries. This programme will help cane harvester operators to learn adequate skills and knowledge. This will also help farmers to operate the equipment efficiently would help in increasing their productivity and lower costs,” said Sandeep Gupta, Agriculture India Sales and Development Leader, CNH Industrial.
