New Delhi, May 6: The Union Government on Wednesday banned the export of alcohol-based sanitizers amid coronavirus crisis.
“Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are prohibited for exports,” the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, said in a notification. Sanitizers are used as a disinfectant to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
Sugar mills and other companies are working hard to produce the hand sanitizers. Also, the government is leaving no stone unturned to stop the spread of coronavirus.
