Chhattisgarh focuses on ethanol production

Raipur: Chhattisgarh government is focusing on increasing ethanol production.

Governor of the state Anusuiya Uikey, in her customary address to the Vidhan Sabha on the opening day of the budget session, shared the view of the state government and the direction in which it will work for the development of the state and increase the income of farmers.

Addressing the Vidhan Sabha she said, “The government is making all efforts to use the surplus stock of paddy for production of ethanol and a process has been set in motion for setting up of state’s first ethanol plant at Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Mill.”
