Kawardha, Chhattisgarh: The Chhattisgarh government has released Rs 18.39 crore in sugarcane incentives for farmers in the region of the Bhorambdev Cooperative Sugar Factory in Kabirdham district, reported Dainik Bhaskar.
The factory’s MD, Bhupendra Thakur, said that the incentive has been paid to sugarcane farmers in Kawardha district for the 2022-23 crushing season. The incentive is part of the state government’s policy to support sugarcane farmers.
The amount of Rs 97.85 crore and an additional recovery amount of Rs 29.72 crore has already been paid to farmers.
