China may ban Australian sugar

The trade disputes and ongoing escalation in tensions between China and Australia may result in Beijing likely to impose sanctions on sugar imported from Canberra. According to the media reports, this comes after China has banned imports of Australian timber from Queensland and a second Australian grain exporter had its barley imports suspended over the weekend.

This may create trouble for Australia as the country’s economy already impacted by corona Pandemic.
