Shamli: For the assistance of sugarcane farmers, a control room will be set up at every sugar mill where an officer will be deployed who will address all the queries of farmers related to sugarcane.
District sugarcane officer Vijay Bahadur Singh said, “The control room will be set up in every mill to assist farmers. The mobile numbers of the concerned officers will be put up on flex boards so that farmers can reach out to them easily.”
Information on sugarcane weights, sugarcane prices and bank account numbers etc. will be made available to farmers through SMS on their mobile numbers at the sugarcane purchasing centres.
