Coronavirus in Kandivali: 13 employees of Sai Dham temple test positive

Mumbai: Police, health officials, local administration and others are working day and night to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Mumbai is one of the most affected cities in India due COVID-19. Coronavirus cases in Kandivali are also rising over the last few days. As per media reports, Mumbai’s R-South ward which comprises of areas like Kandivali and Borivali has seen an increase in the number of corona cases.

According to the media reports, a total of 13 employees of the Sai Dham temple in Kandivali have tested positive of coronavirus. This also includes the priests of temple. The major concern is the slum areas in this ward which includes Hanuman Nagar in Kandivali East and others. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC )is leaving no stone unturned to stop the spread of coronavirus and the officials are working day and night to ensure that Mumbai becomes Corona free.

Mumbai’s Dharavi has reported 33 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths on Thursday, taking the total number of cases in the area to 1,061, according to BMC.
