• Domestic: Nationwide, the week ended with some demand, however, there was no major movement and market was held firm. In Maharashtra, Kolhapur belt millers opened tenders at ₹2900 to ₹2920 meanwhile in Pune and Ahmednagar belt millers opened tenders at ₹2910 to ₹2940. There was a good demand as well as trade for racks in Maharashtra from the North Western region of India. Resale sugar was traded at ₹2880 to ₹2930. In Uttar Pradesh, M/30 was traded at ₹3120 to ₹3220 (Rates are excluding GST).

• International: The market ended flat. London White Sugar traded at $345.00, whereas US Sugar Traded at $12.75..
The FOB indication for raw sugar was at $296-$300 & Indian White Sugar at $314-$318

The demand of Raw Sugar range was ₹18200-18400/mt & White Sugar ₹19200-₹19400/MT on Ex.factory basis.

• Currency & Commodity: US Dollar traded with INR at 70.60 meanwhile USD traded with BRL at 3.700, Crude Futures traded at ₹3733, WTI $52.91

• Equities have ended the week on a negative note. The 30-share index opened on a strong note but failed to hold on its gains and settled 96 points, lower at 36009. The NSE Nifty too slipped by 26 points to close at 10794.
