Mayiladuthurai, Tamil Nadu: District Collector A P. Mahabharathi has stated that the district administration would positively recommend the revival of NPKRR Cooperative Sugar Mills, reports The Hindu.
He assured farmers about the positive development after inspecting the sugar mill.
Based on the instructions of Chief Minister M.K.Stalin, the Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare M.R.K. Panneerselvam had announced in the Assembly the revival of a sugar factory at Thalainayar. An expert committee was set up for this and the committee had inspected the mill and had given its report, he said.
The district administration will also recommend the revival of the mill, said the Collector.
