Egypt extends sugar export ban for three more months

In an official announcement, Egypt has decided to extend the ban on sugar exports for three more months, with the exception of surplus quantities that exceed the local market’s requirements, as stated in the official gazette.

Furthermore, the Egyptian cabinet, in a decision made on Wednesday, has also granted approval for a three-month ban on exporting onions. This measure is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to regulate and stabilize market prices.
