Cairo: Egypt has sugar stocks sufficient to cater consumption needs of people of the country for six months, said a senior official in the ministry of supply and internal trade.
Ibrahim Ashmawy, the head of the internal trade development authority stated that apart from sugar the cooking oil reserves in the country are available for five months and the rice reserves are sufficient for three and a half months.
