Entomologist Dr Vinay Mishra and other experts from Genda Singh Sugarcane Breeding and Research Institute interacted with sugarcane farmers associated with the Bajaj Sugar Mill and guided them about the measures they should implement to control pests, reports Live Hindustan.
They inspected the sugarcane crops grown in villages adjoining the sugar mill and informed the farmers about the pests and insects the crops are infected with. The experts also guided them to use the pesticides mixed with the appropriate amounts of water and other chemicals and how to spray them on the crops to keep a check on the spread of the pests.
