Najibabad, Uttar Pradesh: Sugarcane farmers under the banner of BKU Lokshakti have launched a sit-in agitation outside the Tehsil office demanding an increase in the crushing capacity of the Kisan Cooperative sugar mill as well as pending cane payment, reports Amar Ujala.
Farmers claimed that the Chief Minister had promised to increase the crushing capacity of the sugar mill but nothing has happened in this direction.
They have submitted a memorandum of their demands addressing the Chief Minister to the SDM.
