Mysuru: Farmers’ leaders across the country will be meeting in Bengaluru on March 19 and 20 to discuss the problems of the farming community and agriculture.
The round table conference of the farmers’ leaders will discuss sugarcane FRP hike among other issues.
Kurubur Shanthkumar, president of the Federation Farmers Association said that farmer leaders from various States would attend the conference.
The Association has been demanding the change in Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane as they claim it is not enough to meet the crop production cost.
