Osmanabad: Hundreds of sugarcane farmers and employees of the sugar mill participated in a protest demanding the mill to resume operations.
The mill is shut for several years and the cane farmers want the mill to revive operations so that they could send their cane for crushing.
The protesters were riding bullock carts and tractors in the protest rally organised for their demands.
According to the officials, the protesters were not wearing masks and not following the social distance rules and they have allegedly violated COVID-19 norms.
