Foxconn’s proposal and multiple green projects gets nod from Karnataka govt

The Karnataka government has approved a project of Foxconn Hon Hai Technology (FHH) India Mega Development that plans to invest Rs 8,000 crore, reports Project Today. This is likely to generate around 50,000 jobs in the state.

The State High-Level Clearance Committee (SHLCC) has cleared this project along with 17 other projects that would bring around an investment of Rs 75,393.57 crore. These include 10 greenfield projects, five expansion projects and three additional projects.

The proposals are in the area of ethanol production, wind energy, green hydrogen, and the electrical and electronic items assembling sectors.
