Shevgaon: Gangamai sugar mill has set the target of crushing 12 lakh tonne of sugarcane in season 2020-21, said Padmakar Mulay, chairman of the sugar mill.
He was speaking during the Boiler inauguration of the sugar mill.
“The area under sugarcane cultivation has increased this year due to the favourable rainfall. Therefore sugarcane would be available for crushing in huge quantity. Considering this, we have decided to increase ethanol production. We appeal farmers to cooperate with the sugar mill to increase the efficiency of the mill,” he further added.
