Hampi Sugar is planning to set up a sugar production unit having a capacity of 7,500 tccpd at the KIADB Industrial Area in the Ballari district of Karnataka, reports Projects Today.
The plant will also include an alcohol manufacturing unit and a co-generation power plant.
The company has applied for environmental clearance and is waiting for approval of the same. The work on the project is expected to start by May 2023.
