Panipat: Sugarcane farmers in Haryana need not to worry if sugar mill in their region has closed operations as the mill based in Dahar village in Panipat is ready to crush the cane of farmers across the state, reports Amar Ujala.
The mill has crushed the cane of the farmers from Panipat and the mill administration decided to continue crushing operations as the farmers from other districts are rushing to the mill to crush their cane.
The cane crushing capacity of the mill is 50,000 quintals per day and the mill can crush 15 lakh quintals of cane this month.
Navdeep Sinh, MD of the mill said that the mill has crushed around 62 lakh quintal cane till April 5. Apart from this, the mill has crushed around 3 lakh quintal cane of farmers from Sonipat, Gohana and Rohtak.
